I’m piggy backing on Andrew’s note below.  

Straw polls help candidates gauge their viability as a contender in the race for the Presidency, they help the voting public learn more about each candidate, and importantly, they give those voters participating in the poll an opportunity to help shape the eventual outcome on 8 Nov 2016.  You can share in that opportunity by participating in the straw poll on 28 Oct 2015 at the Marlborough Holiday Inn.  The Holiday Inn is right off of I-495 at the Rt 20 intersection, a mere 20 minutes from Littleton.

This straw poll is a wonderful opportunity for us to gather and show support for our desired candidate for the Presidency of our great nation.  Every election has consequences; none are more consequential than the one for the President of the United States of America.  We have a duty and a responsibility to work to elect a President who can best serve the people ofour country.   

If you believe that our country must alter course from these past 6 and a half years then seize the opportunity to help set the correct course.  From the preamble of our US Constitution, “WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do
ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. “The first three words are, “We the people.”  That’s right folks, it’s up to us.

And besides, when your candidate wins in Nov 16, you can have bragging rights that you were on the band wagon first.

One more important note.  This will help raise funds, much need funds, for our Town Committee.
