Seeking Prospective Candidates for the Upcoming Town Elections!
In Early May, Westford will have its Town Election.
Here’s hoping we get some good candidates from Westford stepping forward to run for office.
Your boards and committees are running your town.
If you want change, run or find a friend to run!
It’s not too early to start campaigning for the May Election!
Here are Westford’s boards and the people whose terms are expiring. These officials may run again or just finish their term. Regardless, anyone can choose to run for one of these seats.
• Select Board: (5 seats, 2 up for re-election):
Scott Hazleton and Andrea Peraner-Sweet
• School Committee: (7 seats, 2 up for re-election):
Marisol Garcia and Sean Kelly
• Planning Board: (5 seats, 1 up for re-election):
Robert Shaffer
• Housing Authority: (5 seats, 1 up for re-election):
Patty Dubey
• Library Trustees: (6 seats, 2 up for re-election):
Elizabeth Diercks and Glen Secor
• Board of Health: (5 seats, 2 up for re-election):
Dr. Stephan Goupil and Stephanie Granger

There are also vacancies on town committees. Please submit a Volunteer Activity Form for those positions too. They do not require an election.
If you are running, please come to a Westford Republican Town Committee meeting to introduce yourself!
