GALVIN MAKES THE BALLOT

Two Term GOP Committeeman Sets Out To Make It Three

First Middlesex Republican State Committeeman Dennis Galvin has been certified to appear on the state ballot during the March 5th presidential primary.  Galvin submitted the required number of signatures to the Secretary of State last month and was informed that his name will appear on the ballot. However, he will no longer be running in the First Middlesex District.  State Senatorial districts, which determine party state committee seats, were redistricted in 2022.  Galvin will be running in the new Worcester Middlesex District, because the town of Westford was detached from the First Middlesex and combined with the western communities of Groton, Shirley, Lancaster, Lunenburg, Townsend, Clinton Fitchburg, Leominster and Ashby.  Galvin has a challenger, Attorney Mike Bodanza of Leominster, a member of the Leominster City Council.
